Anne Hathaway's House

William Shakespeare was married to Anne Hathaway in 1582, when he was just 18 years old and she was 26. The beautiful cottage in this picture, which is in the village of Shottery, was her family home. We can look around the house and see what life was like 400 years ago, as well as take a stroll through the award-winning flower garden.
